WHY DO YOUR WINES ALWAYS CHANGE?
Because drinking the same wine is boring… OK, it’s actually because we are quite often buying very small lots from boutique producers, and the nature of this strategy lends itself to irregularity.
I’M LOOKING FOR A WINE A BOUGHT A WHILE AGO. DO YOU STILL HAVE IT?
Maybe. We commonly pull wines from the website before they’re actually out of stock. Sometimes it’s because we want to drink them, sometimes it’s because we think they’ve shut down for a while (wines can “go to sleep”, and we do everything possible to make sure your wine is singing when it gets to your doorstep), and sometimes it’s simply to make sure nobody has to get a “we’re sorry, but we actually ran out of that wine” email. CAN I BUNDLE ORDERS TOGETHER FOR A BETTER SHIPPING RATE?
Absolutely! Just tuck a note into the order requesting for it to be held and we’ll automatically bundle it with your other orders. Please note however, that we do not hold wines for more than six months.
DO YOU HOLD ORDERS DURING EXTREME WEATHER?
Yes. If it is extraordinarily hot or cold in either our location or yours (or common transit routes in between) we will temporarily hold your order to ensure its safe arrival at your doorstep. If we do hold your wine for a couple days, we will send you an email, and you may override the decision if you wish.
I GOT A CORKED BOTTLE. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Bummer! We use high quality corks, so our TCA contamination rate should be below 1%. That being said, if you do get a corked bottle, shoot us an email at email@example.com and we’ll get you a replacement (provided we still have the wine in stock. If not, we’ll provide you with a few choices). No questions asked.
DO YOUR WINES HAVE SULFITES?
Yes. Nobody wants a spoiled bottle of wine. Sulfites are greatly misunderstood by the majority of the wine drinking public, and are present in very limited quantities in just about every wine on the planet. We use the minimum amount to ensure stability; that’s all.

HOW DO I KNOW I’LL LIKE YOUR WINE?
To be honest, you don’t. You’ll just have to trust us. That being said, we’re sommeliers (snobs), chefs, and generally harsh critics of wines, and we try to give each wine a description which is as accurate as possible. Our descriptions commonly include phrases like “great on the couch” or “needs a steak”, and we include stuff like this to help you in your decision making. If you still need a little guidance though, give us a call at 707-385-1202 and we can point you in the right direction.

WHAT STATES CAN YOU SHIP TO?
Currently we are only allowed to ship to the following states:
California, Oregon, Nevada, Idaho, Wyoming, New Mexico, North Dakota, Nebraska, Louisiana, West Virginia, Virginia, Washington DC, and New Hampshire. We are always working on expanding our reach, so it’s possible that we may have access to your state, but have not gotten around to updating the website. If you don’t see your state listed, give us a call.
